The first pumpkin, everyone liked him because he was not scary. But the second pumpkin was so scary that no one liked him. But at the end, they became friends and no one said that he was too scary anymore.

One day, there was a young pumpkin named Roller and he and his friends were rolling around. And when the moon shines bright on Halloween night, he turns into a bat. And flies away to see the world. He found a small bag that said trick or treat on the side and wanted to get it. And as he was getting it, he saw some kids at a house and they held up their bags and a lady dropped some candy in their bag, so he went to get some too. So he picked up the bag and flew on over to get some. And the lady gave him some and he ate it and turned back into Roller The Pumpkin.
Hurt Pumpkins

One of the pumpkins' face got chopped off by a lawnmower. The other pumpkin hurt his eyes so he had to get glasses.

One Great Story A Week
SO many great stories were submitted this week. The students of Mr. E's class are an eager bunch. In order to avoid burning our tech person out, we'll limit one story a week per student starting October 17th, 2011. We're all thrilled that 9 and 10 year old boys and girls want to write! It's a great thing.
For the upcoming weeks, try to focus on making one really amazing story rather than several smaller stories each week. The Creative Writing mail box will be picked up by Friday.

On Halloween Night
Once upon a time there were three boys who lived in a nice mansion. But on Halloween night, they didn't know it yet, but whenever there was a full moon, ghosts and goblins would appear. On Halloween night, they went trick-or-treating and decided to go to the old log cabin. It had test tubes and tables with candles and little jars of liquid. And they saw one jar that was a great big jar. It was wrapped in some kind of plastic. They opened it and found a brain! Then they saw a zombie laying on a table. Then a witch appeared and zapped them. They fell over, passed out! No one ever saw them again...until 20 years. They appeared as three cats on Halloween night.
